Argent Labs, a London, UK-based developer of a smart wallet for Ethereum, raised $4M in seed funding.
The round was led by Index Ventures and Creandum, with further backing from firstminute, Hummingbird, KR1, Proxy, and some angel investors.
Co-founded by CEO Itamar Lesuisse, Chief Science Officer Dr. Julien Niset, and Gerald Goldstein, Argent provides a wallet for Ethereum-based digital currencies and blockchain applications, which protects users from theft, is easy to recover and has no transaction fees.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop the app. Argent is live on iOS and Android. People can download it now, choose their free ENS and join the waiting list: argent.link/download
