TravelPerk, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of a SaaS corporate travel platform, secured $44m in Series C funding.
Backers included Kinnevik, Yuri Milner, Tom Stafford, Felix Capital, Target Global, Spark Capital, LocalGlobe, Sunstone and Amplo.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into new markets and accelerate its growth.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Avi Meir and CPO Javier Suarez, TravelPerk provides a SaaS based corporate travel platform which allows teams to manage trips from booking to accounting. The company’s platform hosts a large bookable travel inventory, offers the tools and resources to manage trips from booking to accounting into a smart, consumer-standard interface. to compare, book and invoice cars, trains, flights and hotels from a wide range of major providers including Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb – with 24/7 support.
TravelPerk is opening its first office in the UK, and is soon also to build bases in Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris.
