Ticketer, a Hungerford, Berks, UK-based provider of bus ticketing technology, received an investment from private equity firm Tenzing*.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The backing will enable the company to accelerate its new product development plan.
Established in 2009 and led by CEO John Clarfelt, Ticketer has developed smart electronic ticketing technology software and products for the bus sector.
The company’s system allows operators to access ticket sales data, view performance and manage fares from anywhere with an internet connection. The solution is fully supported by a hosted service, with nothing is installed on site.
