Excelfore Received Investment from Molex and Hella

Excelfore Excelfore, a Fremont, CA-based smart mobility software company, received strategic investments from Hella and Molex. 

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Hella made the investment through its venture capital arm Hella Ventures, following previously announced cooperation on bi-directional OTA software updating and data gathering for automotive components. Molex re-invested in the company via Molex Ventures.

Led by Shrinath Acharya, CEO, Excelfore provides cloud platform and connectivity applications for intelligent transportation. Its middleware solutions for smart mobility networks enable OEMs and suppliers to build smart, autonomous and learning vehicles, fleets and associated infrastructure.

The company’s products include protocol stacks for in-vehicle Ethernet audio-video bridging (AVB) and time-sensitive networking (TSN), the cloud-to-vehicle eSync™ System for OTA updates, diagnostics and telematics, as well as eLearn™ machine learning platform.
