Dragonfly Capital Partners Launches $100M Fund

bitcoinDragonfly Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm, has launched a $100m fund.

Investors in the fund include OKEx, Bitmain, Salil Deshpande of Bain Capital Ventures, Marc Andreessen and Chris Dixon of Andreessen Horowitz, Cyan Banister of Founders Fund, Olaf Carlson-Wee of Polychain Capital, Neil Shen of Sequoia China, Baidu founder Eric Xu, Bob Xiaoping Xu of Zhenfund, Zhang Tao of Meituan-Danping, Bao Fan of China Renaissance Bank, Cai Wensheng of Meitu, Justin Tang of X Financial, JP Gan of Qiming Venture Partners, and Annie Xu of Alibaba U.S.

Led by Managing Partners Alexander Pack, previously at Bain Capital Ventures, and Bo Feng, previously at Ceyuan Ventures, Dragonfly Capital Partners will invest in three types of assets:
– crypto-native funds;
– protocols and applications founding the decentralized economy; and
– tech startups connecting decentralized and centralized ecosystems.

The firm’s portfolio already includes 20 companies, such as Basis, Spacemesh and Oasis Labs.
