Vonage Acquires NewVoiceMedia, for $350M

vonageHolmdel, New Jersey based Vonage Holdings Corp. (NYSE: VG) is to acquire NewVoiceMedia, a Basingstoke, Hampshire-based cloud contact center company, for $350m.

The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018, subject to standard regulatory review and customary closing conditions.

Led by Dennis Fois, CEO, NewVoiceMedia provides a cloud Contact Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) to over 700 primarily mid-market and enterprise customers, including worldwide brands like Adobe, Siemens, Time Inc., FundingCircle, and Rapid7, which use the solutions for a range of engagement use cases, from inbound customer support to outbound sales.

The acquisition aims to Vonage’s offering by combining its UCaaS and CPaaS solutions with NewVoiceMedia’s cloud contact center offerings and providing an end-to-end communication experience for a company’s employees and customers.

Following the close od the transaction, NewVoiceMedia will continue to be led by Mr. Fois and the senior leadership team and its more than 400 employees, will join Vonage.

Led by CEO Alan Masarek, Vonage provides a cloud communications platform featuring a unified communications solution and embedded, contextual communications APIs. This combination enables businesses to collaborate productively and engage their customers effectively across messaging, chat, social media, video and voice.
