Source Defense, a Rosh Haayin, Israel-based provider of a prevention solution for website supply-chain attacks, closed its Series A funding.
Backers in the round – which brought total funding to $10M – included:
– AllegisCyber,
– Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP),
– Global Brain, and
– Connecticut Innovations.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate its go-to-market strategy around its website security platform.
Led by Hadar Blutrich, CEO and Co-Founder, Source Defense provides a website security platform which stops the current wave of damaging JavaScript-based website card skimming attacks, and other similar hacks. Its real-time, all-the-time proactive prevention solution controls third-party access and enforces access policies to prevent malicious activity before it begins.
Features include:
– Simple integration – Site owners copy and paste Source Defense JavaScript into page headers;
– Automatic configuration – Policies are set automatically with no administrator involvement; and
– low-touch management – Source Defense prevents attacks while preserving site integrity and performance
The company has also announced the opening of two new offices: The company’s new US headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and a second R&D center in Rosh HaAyin, Israel. It intends to launch an intensive hiring campaign in both locations.
