Pani Systems, an Austin, Texas-based smart-home IoT company, raised $1M in seed financing.
The round was led by Blake Chandlee, the former VP of Global Partnerships who joined Facebook in 2007 to lead its international expansion.
The company intends to use the new capital for hiring, product development, and strategic initiatives with key go-to-market partners.
Founded by Allen Tsai, Pani is a smart-home IoT company building consumer products for people to understand their water usage, incentive water conservation and reduce water bills by combining innovative hardware, software, big data and machine learning. , or join our team at jobs(at)getpani.com.
The company will have a limited and exclusive supply of early units available for pilot partnerships with select partners later this year. The products will ship to consumers and partners in early 2019.
