Mabl Raises $20M in Series B Funding

mabl teammabl, a Boston, MA-based SaaS provider for machine learning based test automation, raised $20M in Series B funding.

The round was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures), with participation from existing investors CRV and Amplify Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate innovation, as well as to expand its go-to-market and customer success organizations.

Led by Dan Belcher and Izzy Azeri, mabl is a SaaS provider for machine learning based test automation. The solution uses cloud computing, data analytics, and machine learning to enable continuous testing with a script-free test automation framework and cloud services that run tests without having to manage test infrastructure. Its proprietary machine learning models automatically identify application bugs, including visual regressions, javascript errors, broken links, increased page latency, and more.

The company is also launching “mabl Enterprise”, which is designed to allow software teams to maintain product quality and development velocity at scale while satisfying security and compatibility requirements of large-scale organizations.
New features in mabl Enterprise include:
– mabl Link – a secure tunneling solution to remotely test applications within a private network or on a local machine
– Native cross-browser testing – to run tests in Internet Explorer 11, Chrome, and Firefox without using a third party test-cloud provider
– SAML integration – support for single sign-on solutions such as Okta (to come soon).
