ioTium Raises $13.6M in Series B Funding

ioTiumioTium, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based Software-Defined Converged Infrastructure company for the IIoT, raised $13.6m in Series B financing.

The round, which brought total funding to $22m, was led by continued investment from March Capital Partners, with participation from Honeywell Ventures, John Chambers’ JC2 Ventures and Hanna Ventures and existing investors GE Ventures and Juniper Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate ongoing technology leadership at its Chicago and Houston locations and market expansion in the U.S. and abroad, opening offices on the East Coast of the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Led by Ron Victor, founder and CEO, ioTium provides cloud-enabled Software-Defined Converged Infrastructure for Fortune 500 organizations looking to enable secure, scalable IIoT deployment.
The company’s offerings – deployed in building automation, energy, oil and gas, and manufacturing organizations – include the:
