Gremlin Raises $18M in Series B Funding

gremlinGremlin, a San Francisco, CA-based Failure-as-a-Service platform, raised a $18M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Redpoint Ventures.

Founded in 2016 by Kolton Andrus, CEO, and Matthew Fornaciari, CTO, Gremlin provides a “Failure-as-a-Service” platform that offers engineers a solution to experiment on complex systems to identify weaknesses before they impact customers and cause revenue loss.
The company has just launched Application Level Fault Injection (ALFI), which enables DevOps teams to inject failure at the application level for developing full-stack resiliency, including within serverless environments.

The company has raised $23.75m in funding to date from Redpoint, Index Ventures, and Amplify Partners. Existing customers include Expedia, Qualtrics, Twilio, Under Armour, and Walmart.
