Fit4D Raises $4M in Expansion Funding

diabetesFit4D, a NYC-based diabetes management technology services company, raised $4m in expansion financing.

The round was led by existing investor SJF Ventures with participation from new investors C&B Capital, Esther Dyson and North Haven Capital and existing investors Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska and StartUp Health.

The company intends to use the funds to consolidate its markt position.

Led by David Weingard, CEO, Fit4D provides a patient-centric technology enabled coaching solution to those living with diabetes. Its purpose-built coaching platform enables Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) clinicians to scale their reach and deliver personalized, one-on-one diabetes management programs through an optimized mix of humans and technology.
The Fit4D clinical team is comprised primarily of Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) with clinical credentials as nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, exercise physiologists, social workers and more.

The company partners with health plans/providers and has also engaged in numerous joint initiatives with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Diabetes Association, the Diabetes Research Institute and the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
