Doctena, a Luxembourg-based medical booking startup, raised €8m in funding.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the accelerate European expansion.
Led by Patrick Kersten, CEO and founder, Doctena is a European medical scheduling platform used by all sorts of doctors, from general practitioner to hospitals. The company’s cloud calendar solution has been developed to embrace organizational rules inside the practice.
The solution is available in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and is compatible with a large number of medical planning software, meaning that it can easily be integrated into the day-to-day administration of doctors and their practices.
Today, over 10.000 doctors are on the platform with many new users joining it monthly.
