Country Archer Jerky Co., a San Bernardino, Calif.-based jerky brand in the natural channel, raised $10m in funding.
Monogram Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to more than double production capacity at its Southern California-based facility.
Led by Eugene Kang, CEO & Co-founder, Country Archer Jerky Co., produces gourmet jerky, meat sticks and meat bars. The company makes all its jerky at its 30,000 square foot manufacturing plant in San Bernardino through a production team of more than 100 local employees.
Country Archer’s products are sold in 25,000+ distribution points across the U.S. and in Canada with retailers like Starbucks, Whole Foods Market, Wegmans, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, 7-Eleven, Safeway, Smart & Final, Love’s Travel Centers, Speedway, WaWa, Pilot Flying J and Travel Centers of America.
