Bird Office, a Paris, France-based provider of a meeting room booking platform, raised €5M in funding.
Backers included Raise Ventures, Caphorn Invest, followed by BNP Paribas Développement and Michael Benabou.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Created in 2013 by Arnaud Katz and Michael Zribi, Bird Office provides a space booking platform for training, seminar, conference, or workstation. The automated service allows people to find and book the ideal place from a wide choice of available spaces made available via exclusive partnerships with key players in the professional real estate sector. The platform offers a complete solution service, allowing each company which organizes a meeting, a seminar, a training session, a creativity session or a conference, to book a room, a complete catering service (breakfast, lunch, cocktail, etc., ) and other ancillary services.
The company currently has an online catalog of 8,500 places to organize seminars, meetings, trainings and company evenings in France, and aborad, mainly in Belgium, Switzerland and London.
