Waud Capital Appoints Chase Edmonds and Karan Sabharwal as VPs

Waud Capital Partners, a Chicago, IL-based growth-oriented middle-market private equity firm with $2.1 billion assets under management, appointed Chase Edmonds as Vice President, Healthcare Services, and Karan Sabharwal as Vice President, Business and Technology Services.

In addition, the firm hired two business development analysts, one senior associate and two associates, expanding its team to more than 45 professionals across its investment, human capital, business development, finance and investor relations teams.

Mr. Edmonds brings more than five years of private equity and consulting experience. Previously, he was an MBA intern at UnitedHealth Group Ventures in the summer of 2017. He also served as an Associate at Comvest Partners, where he assisted in the close of two leveraged buy-outs for healthcare services firms. Mr. Edmonds began his career at A.T. Kearney advising on potential client acquisitions and improving operational efficiency for companies in healthcare and other industries.

Mr. Sabharwal brings six years of private equity and investment banking experience. Mr. Sabharwal worked as a Senior Associate at Golden Gate Capital and an Associate at Friedman Fleischer & Lowe, where he was responsible for evaluating and executing private equity transactions across a broad range of industries. Mr. Sabharwal began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
