Sonder Raises $85M in Series C Funding; $135M in Total

sonderSonder, a San Francisco, CA-based company that rents out apartments with hotel-level amenities, reportedly raised $85m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Greenoaks Capital.

The company raised $135m in total funding to date.

Co-founded in 2014 by by CEO Francis Davidson and Lucas Pellan, Sonder directly maintains and offers well designed and refined apartments for living in Boston, London, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, New Orleans, NYC, Miami, and Montreal. Every apartment is located in neighborhoods, has kitchens, big spaces, and services such as maid scheduling and mini-bar menus. Each space is uniquely distinct and customized to reflect its neighborhood environment.

The company has had more than 200,000 guests and is on track to reach $100m in revenue in 2018. this year.
