GoodRx, a provider of prescription and healthcare savings, received a strategic growth investment from Silver Lake.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Silver Lake joined current investors Francisco Partners and Spectrum Equity. In conjunction with the funding, Greg Mondre, Managing Partner and Managing Director, and Adam Karol, Director, both of Silver Lake, will join GoodRx’ board.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Co-CEOs Doug Hirsch and Trevor Bezdek, GoodRx provides a real-time market-intelligence platform that gathers retail prices and coupons for virtually every pharmacy in America. The company’s website and mobile apps are used by more than 10m Americans.
