Digital Health Company PatientWisdom Raises $1M in Series A

e-healthPatientWisdom, Inc., a New Haven, Conn.-based digital health company with a suite of solutions that improve health and care by listening to patients, providers, and community members – individually and at scale, raised an additional $1m in Series A funding.

The new investor was Chicago-based OCA Ventures, which was joined by existing strategic investors.

The company, which has raised a total of $3.45m, will use the funds to to meet market demand for its tools, to build sales capacity as well as analytic capabilities, enhance patient and provider experience, address burnout, and develop programs that community members are more likely to use.

Led by Gregory Makoul PhD, MS, founder and CEO, PatientWisdom provides three digital solutions – PatientWisdom, ProviderWisdom and CommunityWisdom – which gather real-world perspectives directly from users and analyze the information into actionable insights for use of health organizations.
PatientWisdom has already proven its model with Yale New Haven Health, Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, OSF HealthCare and other health systems to strengthen patient-provider relationships, bolster engagement of patients, providers and community members, and enable organizations to learn and improve.
