Concourse Global Raises $2M in Seed Funding

Application Online College Form ConceptConcourse Global, a NYC-based online platform for education institutions that brings together college guidance counselors and artificial intelligence to match and connect international students with higher education opportunities, completed the initial closing of a $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Colle Capital, with participation from A-Star Education, Third Kind VC, LearnStart, and Jay Varkey, Group Executive Director of GEMS Education.

The company plans to use the funds to expand and further develop their AI based matching technology to increase opportunities for discovery and engagement between students, high school counselors, and universities.

Led by Joe Morrison, CEO, Concourse provides a platform that enables counselors to use their knowledge and close relationships with their students to guide the recommendation process and manage interactions with university admissions officers, so that students receive curated offers from interested institutions, not spam.
The platform leverages human advisors and artificial intelligence to provide guidance and support to students in their higher education journey, and enables higher education institutions to discover those students in accordance with their enrollment capacity and constraints.
