Simon Data Raises $20M in Series B Funding Round

simon dataSimon Data, a NYC-based enterprise customer data platform with an integrated marketing cloud, closed a $20m Series B funding round.

The round was led by Polaris Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Dave Barrett, Managing Partner at Polaris Partners, joined Simon Data’s Board of Directors, alongside Maria Cirino from .406 Ventures. .406, F-Prime, and Commerce Ventures.

The company, which has raised a total of $32m to date, intends to use the funds for business development and expansion of its product and engineering teams, with a specific focus on data science.

Founded by Jason Davis, Josh Neckes, and Matt Walker, Simon Data provides an enterprise customer data platform with an integrated marketing cloud, which allows businesses to leverage big data and machine learning to power customer communications in any channel.
Major customers include Airbnb, OpenTable, Blue Apron, TrueCar, and Rover.
