CrowdStreet, a Portland, Ore.-based commercial property investment marketplace and software company, completed an $8m Series B round of financing.
The round was led by Grotech Ventures, with participation from existing investors Rally Ventures, Seven Peaks Ventures and Green Visor Capital, and strategic investor Noam Bardin, CEO of Waze. In conjunction with the funding, Lawson DeVries, general partner of Grotech Ventures, joined CrowdStreet’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to build out its fundraising and investment management platform and to accelerate its next stage of growth.
Led by Tore Steen, CEO, CrowdStreet provides real estate developers and operators with a platform to raise capital, acquire new investors and manage their portfolios and offerings online, while allowing high-net-worth investors to build wealth through online real estate investing.
The company has 100,000+ investors on the platform with over $320 million capital raised through 220+ offerings.
