Agora Images, a Barcelona, Spain-based photography app, closed its second financing round with more than €2M.
Backers included:

– Kabche Real Estate,
– Apium Hub, and
– members of the IESE investment group, and ESADE BAN.
The company, which closed its first round one year ago and plans to open a third round in the fall of 2018, will use the funds to continue to develop the platform engage to sponsored contests, recruit new developers and invest in marketing to expand its global community, acquisition increase.
Led by Octavi Royo, CEO and Co-founder, Agora Images provides a photography app that allows people to get money with their best photos. It allows everyone with a camera or a smartphone to participate in photo contests, share, and sell their pictures. Users make their photos visible to others, which are also purchasable by businesses.
The app, available in App Store or Google Play, has an international community of two million users from over 190 countries who have uploaded 6 million photos on the app.
