Velasca, a Milan, Italy-based manafacturer of luxury shoes and accessories for men, raised €2.5m in funding.
The round was led by existing backer P101 SGR, with participation from Milano Investment Partners and a pool of private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to futher expand at a national and international level, with a particular focus on the commercial development of its native omnichannel model.
Co-founded by Jacopo Sebastio and Enrico Casati, Velasca is a maker of luxury shoes and accessories for men. Its products, which include casual and elegant shoes and such accessories as belts, bags, socks, wallets, scarfs, etc., are sold online and via its three stores in Rome, Turin, and Milan.
The company closed 2017 with an over 100% growth compared to 2016, with a turnover run rate already over €5m in 2018.
