Postie, a Los Angeles, CA-based marketing automation platform that makes direct mail behave like a digital channel, received $3.5M in seed funding.
The round was led by Bonfire Ventures and Crosscut Ventures.
Co-founded bLed by Dave Fink, CEO, and and Jonathan Neddenriep, CTO, two former execs of Santa Monica-based incubator Science, Inc., who helped launch some major DtC brands including Dollar Shave Club, Postie allows digital marketers to apply machine learning and quant marketing to direct mail, from testing and optimization to audience modeling and attribution.
The platform, now available to all marketers, provides prospecting and automated CRM together in one place with campaigns deployed and managed in-house within minutes and mailed as quickly as the following day. The company, which is already operating profitably, has officially announced its launch in the U.S. market.
Clients range from direct-to-consumer brands, ecommerce, financial services, insurance and consumer service providers.
