NYC based venture capital firm RRE Ventures reportedly closed its seventh fund, at $265m.
Led by GPs Stuart Ellman, Jim Robinson, James D. Robinson, Raju Rishi, Partner Jay Hass, and GP and COO Will Porteous, RRE invests primarily in Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds.
The firm invests in founders building category-defining companies in industries ranging from financial services (OnDeck, Avant, Venmo) to 3D printing (Makerbot), and from media (BuzzFeed, Business Insider, TheSkimm) to space and robotics (Jibo, Spaceflight, Spire).
To date, RRE has raised $1.5 billion across seven funds. The portfolio includes over 100 companies while notable exits include over 60 companies.
