ETechAces Marketing & Consulting Pvt. Ltd, which owns India’s insurtech brand PolicyBazaar.com and lending marketplace PaisaBazaar.com, raised over $200m in Series F funding.
The round was led by SoftBank Group’s Vision Fund, with participation from existing investors Info Edge (India) Ltd, the parent of jobs portal Naukri.com.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.
Founded in 2008 by Yashish Dahiya, Group CEO, ETechAces is the parent company that holds India’s leading insurtech brand, PolicyBazaar.com, which allows consumers to compare insurance products, to buy them instantly and to make informed decisions, and PaisaBazaar.com, an online financial marketplace for investment and lending products.
PolicyBazaar.com today hosts over 100 million visitors yearly and records sale of nearly 300,000 transactions a month.
Paisabazaar.com currently partners with more than 75 partners across lending and investment categories with 300+ products on offer.
