Internet of Things Company Roambee Secures $2M from MDI Ventures

Roambee, a Santa Clara, CA-based Internet of Things (IoT) supply chain and enterprise asset visibility company, received $2m in funding.

MDI Ventures, Telkom Indonesia’s corporate venture capital firm, made the investment, which nears the company to close a $10M funding.

The company intends to use the funds for the entry into Indonesia and Southeast Asia’s logistics market. Its first customer in the region will include Telkom Indonesia, the largest telecommunication services company in Indonesia.

Led by CEO Sanjay Sharma, Roambee provides an inside, outside, and in-transit supply chain logistics and asset management platform to global enterprises. Founded in 2013, the company provides proprietary sensor, software, and cloud technology solutions to capture, deliver, report, analyze, and understand data worldwide.
With Roambee, customers gain control and visibility over their goods and assets, with real-time monitoring, alerts, and insights to mitigate risk, and improve operations.
