Prifender, a Bellevue, Washington-based provider of identity-aware technology, secured $5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Firsttime VC with participation from Shaked Ventures and iAngels.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate global expansion and accelerate platform development, leveraging both AI and traditional techniques to optimize functionality.
Led by Nimrod Luria, CEO and Co-Founder, and Sagi Leizerov, Chief Data Solutions Officer and Co-Founder, Prifender leverages artificial intelligence technology to discover and map personal information across networks and systems, both structured and unstructured, while associating identities with their respective obligations so organizations can manage and demonstrate accountability and compliance.
The platform has already been deployed in leading global enterprises across technology, retail and financial services.
