Cancer Fighting Startup Radformation Raises $1.6M

Radformation, a NYC-based early-stage oncology software company, closed $1.6m in seed financing.

The round was led by Brooklyn Bridge Ventures and a group angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to hire more software engineers to build out its product offering and add to its sales and service team to support clinical clients in the United States and abroad.

Led by Kurt Sysock, Alan Nelson and Elisabeth van Wie began, Radformation leverages clinical best practices and advanced algorithms to automate the optimal treatment plan process. In this way, the company helps clinics provide their patients with optimal treatments and avoid patient harm. The software is compatible with a wide range of cancer treatment sites, and generates optimal treatment plans in minutes.
