Wuxi Vision Pro, a Shangai, China-based ophthalmic medical device manufacturer, closed an RMB 80M Series B financing.
Backers included Qiming Venture Partners and Ruijian Capital.
Founded in 2010 and led by Dr. Liao Xiugao, Wuxi Vision Pro focuses on research and development, production, and marketing of intraocular lenses. The company, which has filed many patent applications related to intraocular lenses worldwide, received the production certificate of medical devices which is approved by CFDA and the management system certificate of ISO 13485, the CFDA medical device registration certificate and the European Union CE certificate.
Wuxi Vision Pro has its own lens materials development and manufacturing facility in Irvine, California, USA.
