Ubisecure, a Helsinki, Finland-based Customer Identity & Access Management software provider and cloud identity services enabler, secured significant growth capital from Octopus Investments.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. In conjunction with the funding, Richard Court and Paul Davidson of Octopus Investments will join Ubisecure’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand personnel across the Nordics and establish local presence in the UK to support new customers and partners with plans to open a local German office in late 2018.
Led by Simon Wood, CEO, Ubisecure provides a Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) platform to connect customer digital identities with customer-facing SaaS and enterprise applications in the cloud and on-premise.
The platform consists of productized Customer IAM middleware and API tooling to allow companies to connect, manage, secure and streamline the use of customer identities to reduce the efforts and cost of delivering connected, business-critical applications across all devices.
Customers include S-Group, DNA, Neste as well as several Government organizations. Its partners include CGI, Cap Gemini, Tieto and Nixu.
