SignalFx Raises $45m in Series D Funding

SignalFx, a San Mateo, CA-based provider of an operational intelligence platform for data-driven DevOps, raised $45m in Series D funding.

The round, which brings total funding to $103.5m since its founding in 2013, was led by General Catalyst with participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Charles River Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Dr. Stephen Herrod, general partner at General Catalyst and former CTO of VMware, joined SignalFx’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its product development and go-to-market efforts.
