Poq, a London, UK-based app commerce company, completed a £9.5m Series B funding round.
The round, which brings the total amount raised so far to £16.5m, was led by Smedvig Capital, with participation from Beringea and existing investor Revolt Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to grow in the UK and Europe, as well as in the US, where it plans to open offices.
Led by Oyvind Henriksen, CEO and co-founder, Poq is a Software-as-a-Service platform that enables retailers to create customized native apps to build brands, sell their products, deepen customer loyalty and deliver relevant content, communications and rewards.
Clients include the UK’s largest brands and department store retailers, such as Missguided, House of Fraser, Holland & Barrett and MADE.com.
