Online Brand & IP Protection Company Incopro Raises $21M in Funding

Incopro, a London, UK-based online brand & IP protection platform, raised $21m in funding.

Highland Europe made the investment. In conjunction with the funding, Sam Brooks and Gajan Rajanathan from Highland Europe are joining the Incopro board.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its platform and expand its existing operations in China, as well as strengthen its presence in the United States and Europe.

Co-founded by Simon Baggs (CEO) and Bret Boivin (CTO), Incopro provides its Talisman online brand protection technology platform for businesses to safeguard their brands from counterfeit and piracy threats online. Talisman monitors IP infringements by scouring the web in real time using machine learning technology, pulling in data from major platforms ranging from online marketplaces and social media through to websites and app stores, enabling comprehensive takedown of all associated operations.
The company’s other products include Identify, an anti-piracy intelligence tool that tracks over 17,000 piracy websites across the globe, and Spectrum, which allows brands to navigate the ad-buying universe to ensure their adverts are not positioned beside undesirable content.
Clients include Reckitt Benckiser, Ted Baker, ghd, NBC Universal, Harley Davidson, Hunter, Tangle Teezer, and BBC Studios.
