Hoop, a UK-based family app for parents to find and book fun activities for their children, secured £4m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Edge Investments with participation from Business Growth Fund and other investors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale operations, to solidify market share in Britain, and expand in the US.
Led by CEO Daniel Bower, Hoop is a marketplace which allows families to find and book organized local activities for children and the organizers of those activities to increase their profitability.
The app has been downloaded over 750,000 times.
