Alauda, a Beijing, China-based enterprise container PaaS service provider, received a new equity funding of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Intel Capital, with participation from Enlightenment Capital and another strategic investor.
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its engineering and field implementation force, optimize its container PaaS and build application cases for enterprise customers’ needs.
Founded by the former core team members of Microsoft Azure cloud platform, Alauda is a container-based cloud services provider allowing DevOps to modernize application architecture, and maximize developer productivity serving organizations undergoing digital transformation across a number of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, aviation, energy and automotive.
The company has established R&D centers in Seattle and Beijing.
