Vida Ventures, a Boston, MA-based life sciences venture firm, was officially launched with an initial $295m in assets under management.

Founded in 2017 by Arie Belldegrun, Fred Cohen, Leonard Potter, Arjun Goyal, and Stefan Vitorovic, Vida Ventures actively builds and invests in life sciences companies that aim to advance transformative biomedical innovations.

The firm has made an investment in Allogene Therapeutics, is a biotechnology company focused on cancer treatment through the development of allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR T) therapy directed at blood cancers and solid tumors.

Vida Ventures has a bicoastal presence.
