Lumanu Raises $1M in Seed Funding

Lumanu, a Milwaukee-based digital marketing platform provider, raised $1M in seed funding.

The round was led by Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.’s Cream City Venture Capital, with participation from gener8tor, 500 Startups, Right Side Capital Management, BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation Inc., and Peter Sachse.

The company intends to use the capital to continue to develop machine learning capabilities and enhance its sales workforce.

Launched in June 2016 by Tony Tran and Paul Johnson, Lumanu provides a digital marketing platform that connects brands and agencies with brand ambassadors.
Clients include The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. LLC, Harley-Davidson Inc., Unilever and Absolut Elyx.
