dscout, Inc., a Chicago, IL-based provider of a premier in-context video research platform, closed a $7.5m Series B financing.
The round was led by Beringea with participation from Synetro Group.
The company intends to use the funds to grow sales, product, and engineering teams, and build new ways to gather rich in-context data and uncover insights, aided by machine learning / artificial intelligence.
Led by Michael Winnick, CEO, dscout provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) video research platform that enables companies to capture real world product, brand and user experiences at scale, where and when they happen.
