Culture Trip, a New York and London, UK-based startup providing cultural and travel inspiration to users looking to explore the world, raised $80M in series B funding.
The round was led by PPF Group.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its engineering and creative workforce and to grow in Europe.
Led by Dr. Kris Naudts, Founder and CEO, Nick Jakobi, Chief Product Officer, Mike Fox, CMO, and Dick Soule, CRO, Culture Trip is a startup working to enable people to explore the world’s culture and creativity. Its in-house creative teams together with its global network of 300+ freelance contributors have produced approximately 75,000 articles, videos, photos, illustrations and animation, currently featured on the company’s website, app and social channels.
The company’s platform has more than 15m monthly unique visitors and a social media following exceeding 5 million.
