City Pantry Secures £4M in Funding

City Pantry, a London, UK-based food startup, secured £4m in funding.

The round was led by Octopus Investments with participation from Newable Private Investing and others.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow in London whilst also beginning expansion to new markets, targeting cities across the UK over the next 18 months.

Founded by Stuart Sunderland in 2013, City Pantry delivers food from local caterers and restaurants to local offices, covering events, meetings, and team meals.
It currently serves over 20,000 meals every week to over 500 clients, including Google, Amazon, PayPal, Slack, Spotify and Unilever.
