Vangst, a Denver and Los Angeles-based cannabis jobs marketplace, raised $2.5m in funding.
The round was led by Lerer Hippeau with participation from Casa Verde Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue growing their jobs marketplace in addition to improving their recruiting technology and internal infrastructure and future hiring missions.
Launched by Karson Humiston in 2014, Vangst is an employment resource for the cannabis industry which has leveraged its network to connect over 300 cannabis and ancillary businesses with over 5,000 employees, from entry level to executive positions, to date. The company also founded and operates The Cannabis Career Summit, a comprehensive cannabis career fair.
