Lavrock Ventures Closes First Venture Capital Fund, at $25M

Lavrock Ventures, a McLean, VA-based venture capital firm, closed its first fund, at $25m.

Founded in 2016 by Jim Hunt, Daniel Hanks and Steve Smoot, Lavrock Ventures backs startups developing solutions at the intersection of enterprise software, cybersecurity, and national security.
It typically invests $1-$3m as part of $3-$8m financing rounds of companies with evidence of satisfied customers buying products at an accelerating rate.

The firm’s portfolio already includes Sixgen, Graphika, Jask, Kyndi, IDme, Interfolio, Avizia and Immuta.
