Hootsuite, a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based social media management platform, has entered into a credit financing agreement for up to US$50m in growth capital.
The financing was provided by CIBC Innovation Banking.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in APAC, EMEA and LATAM; further verticalize its platform offering for key industries like financial services, insurance, government and healthcare; and double down on its ecosystem through existing and new strategic partnerships and integrations.
Led by Ryan Holmes, CEO, Hootsuite is a social media management platform used by more than 16 million people and employees at 80% of the Fortune 1000.
