Critical Informatics Closes Additional $2m Funding

Critical Informatics, a Seattle, WA-based leader in cybersecurity Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, closed an additional $2m funding.

The round was led by East Seattle Partners with participation from BlackRock Managing Director Bryan White and Cigna-Healthspring founder Herbert Fritch. It completes the extension of the company’s original Series A and brings their total funding to $6.35m.

The company plans to use the capital to continue to scale its MDR for large organizations, to accelerate product development in a variety of areas, including improved integrations with cloud services and customer-facing dashboards for both their core MDR service and Continuous Vulnerability Investigation.

Led by founder Michael Hamilton and CEO Garrett Silver, Critical Informatics is an information security company that provides Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services to a wide variety of industries, with specialized expertise in healthcare, financial services, and the public sector.
