Workast Secures $1.85M in Seed Funding

Workast, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based platform that allows teams to manage their work, closed $1.85m seed funding round.

The round was led by Greycroft Partners with participation from Spider Capital, Mucker Capital and Dream Incubator.

The company intends to use the funds for the expansion of its engineering team and the continued growth of its web platform, API and 3rd party integrations.

Led by Guillermo Gette, CEO, Workast provides a platform that assist teams to organize their daily tasks, manage projects and track productivity through conversational experiences. Following the completion of its current pilot program (est. early 2018), the company will also rollout a premium label product, which will include reports and analytics, unlimited integrations, guest accounts, templates, custom fields and more.

With over 50,000 active companies, Workast is among the top ten apps in the Slack App Directory and will be available on additional platforms and communications channels in early 2018.
