This is Not a Sushi Bar, a Milan, Italy-based Japanese food restaurant chain delivery service, raised €450k in funding.
The deal includes €400k from Mega Holding and other food sector angels, as well as €50k in replacement capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand opening new facilities in Italy and abroad as well as to continue to consolidate the tech infratructure.
Founded in 2007 by President Matteo Pittarello, This is Not a Sushi Bar is a sushi delivery chain of restaurants that currently operates 4 locations in Milan that leverages a tech platform to manage orders on more sales points. In the latest 12 months, the company has managed over 40.000 online orders recording a turnover of nearly €1.4m.
Nuvolab, the venture accelerator founded by Francesco Inguscio, advised This is Not a Sushi Bar in the fundraising process.
