Moovenda, a Rome, Italy-based food delivery service company, raised €1m in funding.
A pool of entrpreneurs and managers participated in the round along with SS Lazio football player Ciro Immobile.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its reach in 10 Italian cities within 2018.
Co-founded in 2014 by CEO Simone Ridolfi, COO Filippo Chiricozzi, and CTO Simone Terranova, later joined by investor and CMO Jacopo Paoletti, Moovenda is a startup that offers a tech driven food delivery service from over 700 restaurants chosen by customers. The company is currently present in Rome, Viterbo, Naples, Turin and Cagliari, thanks to the recent acquistion of Delivery Sardinia (amounting to €250k).
