Imax Program, a Bengaluru, India and NYC-based edtech startup, raised $13.5M in funding.
Backers included Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, LGT Impact and Aspada.
The company intends to use the funds to further invest in product innovation and geographical expansion.
Led by Naveen Mandava and Varun Kumar, Imax Program is a personalized education startup that serves 800+ schools and 300,000 students across India.
The IMAX Program includes textbooks, tablet-based lesson plans, and a feature of using regular school assessment data to provide individualized remedial worksheets. To date, Imax Program has delivered more than 1.7 million individualized remedial worksheets.
